Syracuse Law to Develop a New Hybrid J.D. Program
Since its founding in 1895, the Syracuse University College of Law has been providing students with a global, entrepreneurial, future-oriented legal education. To help expand educational opportunities to students worldwide, the College has announced a partnership to launch a hybrid Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree program that will combine online coursework with on-campus experiences.
The hybrid J.D. program will feature live, face-to-face classes taught by Syracuse Law professors; dynamic course content; and real-world learning experiences. To accommodate working professionals, the program is being designed to be completed in just over three years. The program will be delivered in partnership with 2U Inc., which will provide the online learning platform and a suite of technology-enabled services.
The new program will be subject to New York State and American Bar Association approval.
